This song is h-h-h-h-h-h-h-hot and loads of fun to sing along to, although they do sound a tiny bit smug. Painful and desperate. My favourite kind of love song. Such a pleasure to sing along to. I want to swim in it. Or wallow.
Like moving freeze frames, Mikhail Baryshnikov's photographs capture the kinetic energy of dance and its flow of action. The legendary dancer's first UK photography exhibition, Dancing Away, is on at ContiniArtUK gallery until 31st January. Catch it if you can!
Astonishing final frame victory by Ronnie O'Sullivan at the UK Championships. Opportunity created and seized. Very inspiring. Wow! If you could stalk a country, then that is what I'm doing to poor old France. I swot up on its cultural events and plan trips in order to 'french-ify' myself (I want this to happen soon). When I watch sports or check results, I look at how the French are doing first and feel a stirring inside myself when I hear the national anthem. I have a big map of France so I can look at it whenever want, which is often. I'm going to beginners French classes at the moment and gradually getting my vocabulary back. I try not to be too impatient. Marseille is a particular focus for my obsession and here's a venue I stalk regularly. Maybe I'll sing there one day... http://www.espace-julien.com/fr/
Is it time conquer my fear of heights, instability, coldness and moving quickly to get closer to my dream? This looks pretty close to being able to fly. |
